Client: Intrasia Wealth Management, an advisory firm serving high-net-worth private clients and institutions.
Service: Multi-channel outbound — cold calling, LinkedIn outreach and cold email.
Result: 8 qualified leads in the first 10 days.
The challenge
Intrasia works across Asia, Africa, Australasia and the Middle East, advising on wealth structuring, investment strategy and cross-border financial planning. Their prospects are business owners, executives and private clients with significant assets — people who are pitched constantly, protect their time aggressively, and will not respond to a generic financial services message.
They needed qualified conversations quickly, and they needed the approach to be credible enough for a regulated, trust-driven service.
The approach
We ran three channels in parallel rather than betting on one:
- Cold calling — direct conversations with business owners and executives, opened around wealth structuring and cross-border planning rather than product
- LinkedIn outreach — targeted approaches to senior professionals and founders, with follow-up messaging tied to their situation
- Cold email — short, specific messages positioning Intrasia’s advisory expertise, not a brochure
Qualification mattered more here than in almost any other sector we work in. A lead only counted if the person had genuine advisory need, decision-making authority over their own assets, and real interest in a next conversation.
Results in the first 10 days
- 6 qualified leads from cold calling
- 1 qualified lead from LinkedIn
- 1 qualified lead from cold email
- 8 qualified leads in total, inside ten days of the campaign starting
The channel split is the interesting part. Cold calling carried the campaign, but LinkedIn and email each produced a lead that calling alone would not have reached — which is the argument for running all three rather than picking a favourite.
Selling a high-trust financial service
Financial advisory outreach fails when it sounds like sales. It works when the first sentence demonstrates that you understand the specific problem — a cross-border tax exposure, an unstructured portfolio, a liquidity event — and offers a conversation rather than a pitch. That is a scripting and research problem, not a volume problem.
If you advise high-net-worth clients
Wealth managers, financial advisers, private banks and family offices all face the same access problem. We can open those conversations for you.
