Client: Uplers, a global outsourced recruitment and remote hiring platform with more than 50,000 vetted professionals.
Service: Cold calling and lead generation, with email follow-up.
Result: 60+ qualified leads in four months, a steady 15–20 a month.
The problem
Uplers wanted to grow in a new market and needed outbound conversations with companies actively hiring digital and technical talent — hiring managers, marketing leaders, digital agencies and tech companies.
Cold calling was the right channel and the hardest one to staff. They needed callers who could represent the brand properly, get past gatekeepers, deliver a clear value proposition and ask qualifying questions that actually filtered. They also wanted full visibility: calls made, conversations held, leads generated, follow-ups due. And they wanted it fast, because the campaign had to support a growth timeline.
How we built the calling engine
Trained callers, certified before they dial
Our callers work through 119+ cold calling training modules and more than 14 hours of structured video lessons, built from over 18,000 cold calls made by Deepak Shukla and our internal sales team. The techniques are specific: gatekeeper handling, the LinkedIn open, the first-name-terms approach, the analytical opener, tone mirroring, pattern interrupts and objection deflection. Nobody speaks to a prospect before they are certified against our calling standard.
Messaging built per audience
The core pitch led on Uplers’ real advantage — vetted talent, hired far faster, at a lower cost — and addressed hiring pain directly. Scripts were then written separately for agencies, tech companies, marketing teams, SMEs and recruitment managers, each with a conversational opener, qualification questions and a clear next step.
Volume, then follow-up
Over four months the campaign ran thousands of dials with a steady daily rhythm, reaching decision-makers directly and using structured call flows to get past gatekeepers. Every call outcome triggered the right follow-up: an email, a nurture sequence, or a second touch for high-intent leads. Nothing warm was left to go cold.
Reporting the client could watch live
We ran a shared reporting system holding daily call logs, weekly lead summaries, prospect notes, appointment bookings, email request tracking, follow-up pipelines and quality control sheets. Uplers could check the campaign at any moment without asking us for an update.

What to take from this
Cold calling still works when three things are true: the caller is trained rather than merely available, the script is written for the specific person being called, and the reporting is honest enough that you can fix a weak week while it is still happening.
